{Easter Weekend Rewind}

Even though we had Justin home for an extra day this weekend flew by as they always do. What did we get up to....? This guy did a whole lot of jumping. He loves the jolly jumper and the jumperoo downstairs while I work out.

I worked out while these two worked on their bikes. They spent a lot of time doing this - on 2 separate occasions! Justin wasn't loving this at all! ha

D and I were reppin' and cheering for Geneseo from a far.

We attempted to watch The Good Dinosaur. Delainey had no interest after 20 minutes and someone else fell asleep. Daniel Tiger is the only thing she will watch for more than 20 minutes.

Painting eggs. Eggs was the theme of our weekend!

My bed buddy Saturday morning. Justin got up with D and I tried to snooze in bed with his one seeing as he was up every few hours I was tired - you'd think he would be too!

We dyed our fake eggs!

Dyed and painted eggs.

Justin's Mom came over to work on music for a short while and when we headed over to the market by us for their Easter activities. It was SO busy that we did a quick lap and then hung out with the geese for a while only to catch a few chocolate eggs being scattered everywhere. Thank goodness for that because then we could call it a day.

D hides eggs in her boot! See the blue one! ha

Hanging out in the sunshine!

Beautiful family walk.

And we spent the rest of the afternoon in the backyard and on the deck while Justin BBQ'd ribs.

Races with Cruz.

Sunday morning the Easter Bunny had been to our place so our little bunny was VERY excited. She was so darn cute during the hunt. She would tell us what color she found and wanted to open every egg to see what little treat was in it. She couldn't care less about the little gifts we added to the hunt just the eggs. We may have repeated the hunt again after breakfast!

After waffles we headed up to Nose Hill for a nice walk.
Cruz was in heaven and both kids fell asleep - win.

That afternoon Nana and Gramma Debbie came over for dinner.
Justin made a beer butt chicken and it was delish,

It sure was fun watching Delainey so excited about Easter, it made for such a special weekend. Even if the excitement got the best of her mood at time - she was overly excited - it made me so proud to be her Mom and already excited for next year with 2 munchkins running around.
Now someone else has to break it to her that eventually we have to put the eggs away until next year because we painted eggs again today!

Thank you again for those eggs, we painted some yesterday and they work awesome!
Their reactions on these holidays is the BEST, I think Easter was even better than Christmas. I also love Easter though.

Aww what a sweet post. Glad you guys had such a nice Easter - D's outfit is on point! So cute! We were actually just watching The Good Dinosaur while waiting for an oil change today haha! It's super cute. Sully doesn't have an attention span for movies except for The Fox and the Hound - he loves that one for some reason lol.
