{weekend rewind}

 Happy Monday! This weekend flew by as usual but it was a great one even though I can't remember a thing we did Saturday!? Friday night Jeff and Jolie came over as they offered to watch Delainey so we could go out for dinner!
Clearly Delainey wasn't having any fun at dinner time...ha!

Delainey was in a great mood for them and they even put her to bed - what a treat. Thank you guys! Delainey sure loves her time with Uncle Jeff and Auntie Jolie and they are great sitter we pay them in pizza and wine/drinks!
 Just and I headed to The Keg as Jeff and Jolie gave us a gift certificate there for my birthday but silly us didn't make a reso and the rest of Calgary also decided to go to The Keg so we changed our plans and headed back to the trusty watering hole!

After dinner we hung out with Jeff and Jolie for a while as well as a few Jeff's buddies - Webber, Courtney & Lim who came over as well.

Saturday morning this one helped me make cupcakes for the shower. She thought she would test them out also. Approved.

 Sunday afternoon we hosted a shower for Amelia & Leigh. It was so nice to shower them with some love and Amelia got spoiled with books and gifts. I'll let the photos do the talking.

 {Thank you Nicole & Rachel for bringing the pinwheels and pudding cups - both were delicious!}

It was really nice to catch up with all the blog ladies who came - thank you for coming. Delainey had fun running around with Avery [even though Miss D was being a bit of a clingy grouch] and reading with Tilly.

While we had the shower Cruz went Mountain biking with Justin and Brian - the mountains clearly have more snow than we do in Calgary! She had a blast and came home one very tired puppy!

Delainey and Amelia deep in conversation post shower.

Justin and I were both too tired to make dinner so we ordered Chinese food and called it a night. It may have been 8:20pm when I kissed Justin good night. :)

Thanks for hosting the shower! It was lots of fun to catch up with the ladies and see all the babies!

You should try out Symons Valley Ranch restaurant (can't remember the actual name- something like that) for dinner one night. It's a bit pricy but the food is actually pretty good! You might want to make a reso though... They were pretty busy when we went on Saturday.
