{Baby Mama: Avantgarde Studio}

Well Hello there Friday! First and foremost happy 2nd birthday to our adorable nephew Nixon!
We love tons buddy and hope you have a super special day!
 I am getting my muscle on this morning and helping unload the thousands of trees for the Ikea tree lot. Oh man it's a lot of work but it smells amazing. :)
What else is amazing you ask? This shop I have the honor of sharing with you today.
This shop is based in Toronto and everything in is handmade by the lovely mama Eli. She has a passion for fashion, home decor, photography and all things avant-garde and her shop is proof that her passion has been put to good use. Very good use - her items are one of a kind and to say I am obsessed with her little girl dresses is an understatement. I would wear Delainey's holiday dress. Enough said. Take a peek:
Eli made Delainey the most perfect little holiday dress. Even last year when Delainey was just a wee thing...
finding a holiday dress was important to me and this year was no different.
So when I had the chance to work with Avantgarde Studio I immediately had my eye on this dress...
Eli made one for Delainey is a size 1 and it is perfect. When I first saw this dress I immediately had a vision.
Red tights, red cardigan (or red long sleeve under it) with her black sparkly shoes and black sparkly a bow in her hair...gah.
Do you think I can find red tights in her size or a red cardigan. NO. Don't worry - I will keep looking. ;)
BUT I wanted to show you guys this dress so you had the chance to get your hands on your own if you are still on the hunt for THE perfect dress like I was.
So I went with pink tights we already had, a headband I made and her sparkly black shoes. No sweater needed as we didn't brave the snow!
 I just adore the ruffles and how nicely it hangs (made from linen).
 The nice thing about this dress is that it can be worn in any season and can be dressed up for a fancy occasion or worn alone with sandals in the summer.
Delainey thinks it's her dancing dress..she was also making her elephant noise here.
Her hockey stick was a must as a prop!
 I love the back detail too.
Her dresses are not only perfect for Christmas but New Years, weddings, flower girl dresses - you name it! They are so professionally made and look like you picked them off the rack at a fancy store.
Now you guys can treat your littles to an adorable holiday dress or another special item from her shop at 15% off using the coupon code ALISON - good until January 31, 2015.
Check out her items that are ready to ship!
Check this shop out on Pinterest, etsy, twitter and facebook (on her facebook page she announces sale, giveaway and shows you what she is working on)!
PS. She loves custom orders - so if you have something in mind just chat with Eli.
Just take a look at this dress she made for her daughter's birthday!
Thank you again Eli - I cannot wait for Delainey to wear this dress again in a couple weeks and Chritstmas eve {photos to come - I promise!}
