*** So a few weeks ago I started meal planning for the week. So far I have loved it. It has made grocery shopping easier and cheaper and I don't have to put a lot of thought into what's for dinner!

So I thought I'd let you know what I have made and what we thought of them...

A: Easy prep, delicious but a little messy to eat.
J: Amazing. Can't go wrong with bacon.

A: This was delicious.
J: Pretty good. Indifferent on this one. Alison usually makes some pretty good pastas.

I actually put this one on a bun and made it a into a burger...
A: I really liked it, Justin BBQ'd do super easy for me!
J: Would prefer just a regular chicken burger. ;)

A: Loved this!! Comfort meal for sure. Would be so good on a cold day to come home to. I didn't add any beans.
J: So good. Like Chili but Soup.

A: I love quesadillas so I loved these, pretty simple meal too.
J: These are great. Not great the next day. (ha ha this made me laugh)

A: I love lettuce wraps, these ones were good but not as good as some others I have had!
J: Wouldn't make them again! ha

A: Not bad, a lot of sauce, I'd add less next time. I prefer Mom's way of making it.
J: Not really a fan. No where near as good as the real thing.

(no photo)
A: This one was pretty good. Wouldn't have though it was a WW recipe. Easy to make.
J: Had a tangy taste. Must have been the ranch.

I also made this for myself for breakfast (J doesn't like quinoa!)

Apple Cinnamon Quinoa
It was pretty good and a nice healthy change for breakfast.

There we go! Have you tried a great new recipe lately?

I'm going to make those BLT lettuce wraps and the quesadillas. Love the reviews from both of you!

I actually do have a recipe to share but you'll have to check my blog today (when I get around to finishing the post!). The non-cooker cooked!

I've been trying to find some healthier recipes lately. If Brian chooses what to make, it will be heavy and not so healthy! Those are okay, but not all the time. We had philly cheese steaks last night...so good!

I think the real question I have about this post is what does J actually like?! :)

I also love a lettuce wrap. I love the ones from Joeys! I'm way too intimidated to make them myself.

I have been wanting to try the different quinoas I've seen lately for breakfast...that one looks delish!

I like that you added what you both thought of the meals...great idea!

Our husbands sound SO similar with food opinions!! Joe is very picky, and I'm working on a post now that includes the famous "Slow Cooker Ranch Pork Chops" and he wouldn't even finish them last night. I am fairly picky, but geesh, these men are like true foodies!! Thanks for sharing both of your opinions, as it really helps! You really can't go wrong with bacon (for the hubs).

Thank you so much for a well written, easy to understand article on this. It can get really confusing when trying to explain it – but you did a great job. Thank you!

I love that you and J both gave your opinions! I had been wondering how the crockpot Chicken Parm would work out. Bummer. The Cajun pasta looks amazing!
